Our History
At Bread and Salt Afghan Cuisine, our story is one of tradition, passion, and community. Since opening our doors in 2013 as a small, family-run restaurant in Mississauga, we’ve been guided by a simple but powerful philosophy: serve authentic Afghan food, treat every guest like family, and always strive to exceed expectations.
Our roots run deep—our recipes have been passed down through generations, and every dish tells a story of Afghanistan’s rich culinary history. What began with a single location quickly grew into a favorite among Torontonians, whose love for our flavors inspired us to open two additional locations across Ontario.
